Budapest Fasori Református Egyházközség gyülekezeti termének belsőépítészeti terve 2006 / Congregation hall in Calvinist Church of Városligeti Fasor in Budapest 2006

A Fasori Református templom, a Lövölde térnél, Árkay Aladár tervei szerint épült 1911-ben. Az Art Nouveau (szecessziós) stílusú épületre, ritmikus rend és mértéktartó díszítés jellemző. A templom "nagyterme" görögkereszt alaprajzú centrális tér, félgömb kupolával. A főépülethez keleti oldalról, a lelkészlakásokkal együtt a gyülekezeti terem csatlakozik. Itt kellett 100 főnek helyet adnom, úgy hogy istentiszteleti alkalmakon kívül világi események is történhessenek. Így a terem, egy finom átmenet a szakrális és a profán tér között. Megkíséreltem az Árkay féle szép építészeti rendet követni. A szekrények elhelyezésében és méretében igazodtam az Árkay-féle "ablak-fal, ajtó-fal" ritmushoz. Ezt, a ritmikusságot, a szekrények sötét árnyalata erősíti. Ezek monumentalitását, üvegbetéteik hivatottak oldani. A terem Északnyugati ablakaiban az "égő csipkebokor" (Mk 12,18 - Mk 12,27) történetének szimbóluma jelenik meg.

The Calvinist Church at Lövölde tér was built in Art Nouveau (secession) style by plans of Aladár Árkay in 1911. The building has a rhythmical architecture with moderate decorations. The large room has Greek cross shaped ground-plan with hemisphere dome. The congregation hall with the minister’s residences is joined on the East side of the church. I had to design a place for 100 people here. This hall serves as place for sacred and secular events. The room is a fine transition from sacred to profane sphere. I try to keep the architectural order of Árkay. The measurement and order of wardrobes follow the Árkay’s “window-wall, door-wall” rhythms. The wardrobe’s dark shade of brown helps this influence. But the unvarnished white glasses dissolve the dimness of these. The decorative glasses of north-western windows show the story of “Burning Thorn Bush” from Bible (Moses book 12,18-12,27)

Diploma 2004: Református templom / Degree 2004: Calvinist Church

This is a plan of a Calvinist church was made as degree work. The building would be built in suburb of Budapest. The building can service the young’s faith-life. I wanted to design a church which can give spaces for alternatives to free use. The church as same as a white stone. It’s simple outside but complicated inside. You can find the young’s rooms and minister’s offices in ground floor. The space of church is on the second floor. There are two rooms here, the church and the congregation’s hall. The third level has children’s room, exhibition’s room and the gallery. I designed a monumental prism to the eastside of church. It would have projected the sunshine between 10 and 11 o’clock. I have received two awards of degree work: The first was the Special Award of the Chair of the State Examination Board. The second was the Award of Chamber of Hungarian Architects, Department of Interior Designer.

A zöld területen fehér kavicsként álló templom főként a fiataloknak ad helyet kötetlen hitéletre. Az egyszerű tömbben szövevényes belsőt rejlik. A földszinten a hivatalok és az ifjúsági termek találhatók. Második szint a Templom. Ide a földszintről lépcsőn, liften és a főbejárathoz vezető füves rámpán egyaránt föl lehet menni. A füves „dombtetőről” óriási színes üvegcsarnokba lépünk, melyből a legtöbb helyiség bejárata nyílik. Innen lehet felmenni a karzatra, a gyermekek szobájához, a kiállító teremhez, és a harangokhoz. A templomtérhez kapcsolódik a karzat és a vele összenyitható gyülekezeti terem is. A földszinti ifjúsági termek egy belső kertre nyílnak. A templom keleti oldalára egy hatalmas prizmát terveztem, mely az év három hónapjában a szivárvány színeit vetíti a szószék melletti 8m magas ablakra. Az angyalföldi református templom tervezéséért, a diplomabizottság elnöki különdíjában és a Magyar Építészkamara Belsőépítész tagozatának díjában részesültem.
